A core focus of OCCAM is to support the training of highly qualified personnel. The facility and its staff actively participate in direct classroom instruction (e.g. JTC1135 Applied Surface and Interface Analysis), support for lab components of graduate and undergraduate courses (e.g. MSE219 Structure and Characterization of Materials), and direct functional and operational training of facility users.
